Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster that destroy.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn (Isaiah 54:16-17).

I am certain that most have read Isaiah 54:17! It is so popular that the significance of the text, and its revelation can be overlooked. I am writing under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and super excited to share the heart of the Father! May your life be transformed by this revelation and let the impact of the Word resonate in your Spirit.

‘God is still in the miracle working business’! I had an epiphany while listening to a sermon, and I am super excited share it.

For the multitude that has gone through adversity, currently going through, or will go through, this is certainly going to Bless You!

First, I would like to elaborate that the heart of God is overflowing with LOVE for you. God is so in love with his creation that even when we erred in a major way, he still saved a remnant to propagate the human race. What is it about a ‘human being’ that God is so ‘sprung’ that he did the ultimate… Left his throne, took up an earthly cross, and laid down his life. In the words of a song I heard recently, ‘he loved us to death, so we live because of it’. What a sacrifice!! Amazing! If only you can know how much he loves you, and understand that when you confess your sins, the blood of Jesus cleanses, so that you appear before Him blameless. Because there is ‘no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus’.

What does God mean to you? Can you comprehend His Splendor, or Power, or Magnitude?

Do you not know that our God is ‘FAR ABOVE ALL Principality, and Power, and Might, and Dominion, and Every Name (Eph 1:21). Dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations (Psalm 22:28). At the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. There you have it! How Awesome is our God? He has Absolute Power; Omnipotence and Glorious at the same time. I feel a praise break coming on already :-).

I would like to shed light on a stage of growth that we go through that can be mistaken for satanic intrusion. What has God been saying to your enemies about you? What has your enemies been saying about you? Or more interestingly, what have you been saying about yourself? We create our world through our words (we are like our Daddy). For in Him we live, and move and exist (have our being/existence), for we are his offspring/children/sons/daughters Act 17:28).

God created the heaven and earth by speaking it into being, with the collaboration of His Spirit. This is a very powerful revelation and example for us!! It means that as we collaborate with His Spirit, we can command order out of chaos, light out of darkness, and life to any dead situation. Genesis 1:2 says that His Spirit hovered/moved over the face of the waters when everything was without form, and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep… and ‘then’ God spoke… ‘Let there be light: and there was light.’ He gave us the blueprint.

How often we forget who we are when we are dealing with adversity. You are probably thinking, ‘I know who I am. I am a son/daughter of the King…’ But do you really? When you understand your heritage; the realization that you are the ‘image of God’, puts the ball in your court (Gen 1:27). However, it is not until you conform to His likeness that you can wield His power. What does this mean? So God created you in His image, but what of His likeness? Remember the conversation that God had with His Spirit in Gen 1:26 about you, ‘let us create man in our image and likeness’. In verse 27, He created you in His image, but nowhere in Genesis does it mention that you were also created in His ‘likeness’, although it was mentioned in His plan for you in Gen 1:26.

Let’s examine this. We were created in God’s image. The Bible supports that he has a face, eyes, nostril, mouth, shoulder, fingers, feet etc, and we have the same, because we are a reflection of His image. But what about his likeness? What makes us like Him? We reflect the likeness of God when our character begin to reflect his nature; love, humility, peace, joy, righteousness, a heart that forgive etc. This was God’s original plan for humanity; that we be like him in image and likeness. What are the benefits? You get access to His power. It is such a subtle shift that people do not realize that they are armed with the power to create. So they go around speaking all manner of things; wreaking havoc in their lives and in the lives of others. Simply because we fail to realize that our Words are now His Words, because we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, and host his Spirit (the enabling power of creation, dwelling on the inside of us), and as such, our words are backed by the Kingdom of God.

When we speak, angels are literally at our ‘beck and call’. ‘Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?’ (Heb 1:14). What we say ‘Yes’ to, God permits, and what we say ‘No’ to, God disallows. How dare we abuse and misuse our words! What about folks who abuse this privilege to ‘curse’ instead of ‘bless’? The Bible is very clear about this affect. Blessing and cursing should not proceed out of the same mouth (James 1:10). In order to reap the benefits of good words, you have to ‘continually’ speak life. Abstain from negative conversations, gossiping, or cursing, because not only will you reap the negative consequences of cursing in this life, you will also be judged for idle words on the Day of Judgment (Mat 1:36). Swearing, or the use of profanity, causes you to reap confusion, and it also renders your good words impotent, so that you lack the power to create good things. You may succeed in cursing and seeing the manifestation of it, but if it was causeless, the stumbling block you put in another’s part will be returned to you and your offspring.

I did not mean to linger on the above topic, but it is the leading of the Holy Spirit. Essentially, adversity or persecutions are opportunities to demonstrate our ‘God’ likeness. I have discovered that what we often term ‘demonic attacks’ are often God’s way of notifying that it is time for elevation. A season of promotion is accompanied by ‘birthing pangs/pain’. And like a natural birth, the pangs are the hottest/most excruciating when it is time to ‘push’. What may feel like ‘all hell breaking lose’ is often just the Lord allowing the blacksmith to blow on the coals to increase the temperature, or allowing the waster to destroy things that would incite you to push harder (Isaiah 54:16). You only advance to the next level, when you overcome the opposition on your current level. Such is the game of life. We overcome to advance! If we keep getting to our point of breakthrough and we are unable to push, or give birth, we deliver a stillborn, or may require ‘cesarean/extra help/support’ to deliver.

I would like to encourage you with these words; we are all pawns in the game of life. If we can understand our ‘identity’, role and season we can win every time. Position yourself to win, become like your Daddy, a speaking being. ‘When men say there is a cast down, SAY, there is a lifting up’ (Job 22:29). Let the poor, SAY, I am rich [confess until it manifests]. Let the weak, SAY, I am strong [until your time of refreshing comes] (Joel 3:10). If you are sick, SAY, I am healed [see it by faith until it manifests]. God is not a man that he should lie (Num 23:10). He delights in your prosperity (Psalm 35:27). If your life does not line up with the word, it is only a façade. Choose to believe God’s report and come in agreement by speaking it. And you will have what you SAY (Mark 11:24).

Remember that NO Weapon formed against you shall prosper. Through discernment and dreams, God will cause you to know when weapons are formed against you, because you have his DNA. This is not a concern, confess the word ‘No weapon formed against me shall prosper’. No need to lose sleep over it! Our God is above all. The devil and his subjects simply carry out His will. Spiritual laws governs activities in the realm of the Spirit. You would have been dead a long time ago via violent death, or suffocated in the womb if these laws did not exist. Why do you suppose that you are still alive given that you are a threat to the kingdom of darkness? You are no match for the devil in your natural and physical abilities, but God! You are still alive, because the enemy failed at deceiving you into thinking that your life is not worth living (he cannot kill you otherwise, because he has no legal right).

So sit back and relax, shake the burdens off, and enjoy the ride! Why should you be stressed or burden. Wake up daily and decide to be happy; happiness is a choice, not an affect of your emotions… irregardless of what is happening. Do not bow to distraction, depression or give in to the lies of the devil. What is God saying about you? ‘You are fearfully and wonderfully made’! You are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus! You are blessed and not cursed! You are the head and not the tail! You are above and not beneath situations! Release words that will change your circumstance. Remember who you are in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Col 3:3 states that our life is hid with Christ in God. The Lord is your hiding place and your shield; hope in His Word’ (Psalm 119:114). In the time of trouble he hides you (Psalm 32:7). What harm can befall you? If you are faced with adversity, God has given permission, so endure hardship as a good soldier. You will come out on top for the battle is the Lord’s. The devil is simply cooperating with God’s plan to promote you. After persecution, comes promotion! It is the lifestyle of the believer… get used to it. So we glory in tribulation, because it is wrapped in promotion.

Is it not interesting that the Chinese word for crisis, is composed of two characters; danger and opportunity… 危机? Opportunities often comes disguised as danger, or a problem that needs to be solved.

You are a Spirit being trying to master life in a human body, not the next way around. It is your responsibility and heritage to condemn every tongue that is speaking against you (Isa 54:17). Exercise your God given power! Your righteousness is of the Lord; which means that he sees you blameless and covered in His Blood. When you go to worship, see yourself as the beloved of the Lord, because you are. When you are faced with adversity, remember that you are well able to overcome, because you are. The desires and agenda of the wicked will NEVER come to pass in your life! There is nothing new under the sun! How you see yourself determines if you become a casualty along the way, or you advance into God’s promises.

Remember what happened when the Israelite saw themselves as grasshoppers when they went to spy the promise land (Canaan)? Joshua and Caleb were the only ones spared from those that were born in Egypt, because they dared to speak in agreement with what God had promised, despite what they saw (Num 14:8-9). Is it not ironic that God actually said to Moses, ‘Say unto them… as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you’. What had they been speaking? ‘Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! Or would God we had died in this wilderness’ (Num 14:2). Well! God granted them their wishes!! It is easy to point fingers at the Israelite and say, they were so close, God had promised them the land, how did they perish at the edge of their breakthrough? In actuality, God had given them the land, but it took seven years of battle to posses it.

God made promises to us through His Word, prophetic declarations, dreams and visions. When you go through a wilderness experience, there will be battles along the way, and at the edge of your breakthrough. Write your vision, make it plain, remind God of His promises and never let up! Speak it until you see it! Who is he that can harm you? If God be for you, who can be against you? Prayer, Praise, Worship and Speak your way into his promise! God is bound to His Word. No good thing will he withhold from you when you walk upright before Him. What God has spoken, He will perform. He is not slack concerning His promises. Invoke the Blood of Jesus to speak on your behalf and experience victory every time!
